SWITCHmission ’08

I’m taking some time off yesterday and today before we leave for our mission trip to Eureka Springs, Arkansas tomorrow.

100 students from the Northwest, South and Stillwater campus will be loading busses bound for the mission site.  While we’re there we’ll be renovating run-down houses for lower income families in the area.  Pray for safety but especially pray that God would show Himself to these students during this mission.

I will update daily on our mission blog here.  Check it out and leave us some love.

Anyone else on spring break? Any good mission trip stories to share?

I think going on a mission trip is the best thing for the students. I will always remember my mission trips to mexico during spring break. One of the times we wrote letter’s to our parents about our experience and I just remember being so grateful for what our parent’s provided for us. It could of been alot worse.

Believe it or not I still think about those people in Mexico and my experience there. I would love to go on another mission trip someday when my kiddos are bigger.

  • Spring Break… I wish…

I went to Eureka Springs with Edmond, OKC, and Tulsa this year. We had a couple of unplanned things happen (like the rain!)
