It’s hard to think that God has a mind like ours. I think because He is omniscent that he may change the course of something because of our prayers or that something may change because of furthering His Kingdom but He already knew it was going to happen. Why? God is a divine being and not static but continually ruling this world as to please Himself.
I think that if God sees something that isn’t going according to His plan that He can change His mind. If he does its for good intentions. He does it in the way necessary for our lives in particular. So that we will do things according to HIS will and plan?
I don’t think he does, because God knows EVERYTHING, even the choices that we are going to make. Why would He have to change his mind if He knows what He needs to do or what’s going to happen? (kinda confusing..)
No…the simple answer…because I dont think God changes!!!! He is the only thing honestly that doesnt (THANK THE LORD). I agree with Cindy though…if He does change something it was something He already knew was going to happen…SO really it wasnt a change!!!!
If you put “God changing His mind” into the context of being human, then yes He does changes His mind.
Once you know that God operates outside the time (which is proven by scientists to be physical in that it has a beginning and end) then no, He didn’t change His mind.
God knows what He has to do. God knows what you are going to do. God knows all of this.
Despite all of this, God still loves you, still in love with you and have been pursuing you since before time began and will always love you no matter what till the end of time.
Who really knows, but I’m still going to be a “clanging symbol” in my praying, especially when it’s for the safety of my family. In the past I’ve thought why should I even pray if He already knows what’s going to happen, but I just don’t go there anymore & I tell Him my heart’s cry in every situation.
He doesn’t change His mind, because He NEVER changes. The same yesterday, today and forever. We knuckleheaded hard headed humans are the ones who change. He allows us to go our own way, while HE knows the end result at all times. Thank God for His grace and mercy!

I don’t know if God changes his mind. I will say that if He does, it’s no surprise to Him and He knew that He’d be changing it
Cindy Beall, that made my head hurt. (grin)

Yes. Yes. I don’t know – however he wants to I guess. Because he feels like it?
It’s late. I’m tired. My response is weak. I don’t care.
Does Jonah 3:10 indicate that God does change His mind?
