I read this today during my time with the Lord:

“”For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord.  “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.”  Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.  You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”–Jeremiah 29:11-13

Don’t just skip over it because it’s a scripture you’ve already read… go back and read it again very slowly…

This brings me such comfort… I wonder why?  What about you?

It makes me feel Loved and Wanted! Always has. How can anybody feel like they are an accident or unwanted when God’s love and purpose for us is clearly laid out for us there.

  • That is amazing! It’s incredible how God knows whats going to happen in our lives and he has GREAT things planed for us! WOOOW. I’m stoked :)

This has been one of my favorite verses for years!!! When the boys were 2 and 4, we spent the summer in the Dakotas. While we were there, we met an awesome couple from Texas. The husband helped Steve “find his way”. This was one of our key verses that summer and continues to speak to both of us day after day! Every time I read it, I’m reminded of that summer and Steve’s commitment. I’m also reminded of the Lord’s commitment to us! God is Good! Miss you!

because everything He does in our lives is out of His great love for us…it brings me comfort too!

It’s funny that I just read your blog about this verse because I just wrote a blog about this verse.

It’s crazy how God used the exact same thing to bring both of us comfort even though we are two very different people. I love that the Bible is the LIVING Word! And I love you!

  • ok, I just have to say that you haven’t written a blog in a whole week!

  • Hope says:

I love this verse… except I just focused on the seeking with all your heart part. That makes me realize how distracted I have been.

  • up….date….

    you’re depriving the blog world
