Hung over

It’s Thursday. I’m hung over. No, not from a night of drinking and partying… but from a night of student ministry.

My eyes are puffy, my body hurts, I have a headache… (I always seem to feel like this on Thursdays) but that’s because of the amazing, energetic night before.

We saw ten students raise their hand and commit their lives to Christ! Not only that, these students were followed up with an adult who talked with them about that decision! I love it when real ministry can happen! (Great job leading that team, Patrick!)

I’m meeting with one of my students today for coffee. She’s three weeks sober from drugs and alchohol! Last year she was one of my best students, high school hit and she went off the deep end. I’ve been praying for her ever since and I can’t wait to see what God has done in her life these past few weeks!

Keep praying for the youth of our community! I truely believe they have the power to change the world!

I felt the same way. i felt all of my years this morning. but by noon i was all smiles again. i had to go on a long walk to get out of my system (my way of saying i had to talk to Jesus about all i hear from the night b4!!)

Wednesday nights put me on a different kind of high… I just want to spread it around to everyone… not sure why. But I’m glad I jumped on :)

Misti–I understand… sometimes I find myself yelling at God for all the things I see my students going through… then I remember, He wants them to come back to Him even more than I do…
Kara–I TOTALLY know what you’re saying! It gets my adreniline going! I love it, and you’re a GREAT leader!

  • Awesome! Praise God! Hallelujah! Amen!
